If you're looking for an escape to the countryside, this hotel in a scenic riverside location is perfect. Imagine waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and taking a leisurely walk along the riverbank. the owner, who speaks excellent English, is often away working on his farm, giving you a true taste of rural life. Plus, they offer free bicycle hire, allowing you to explore the beautiful surroundings at your own pace.
It can be a bit challenging to reach the hotel from the station, especially with luggage.

Christmas at the hotel was not a complete disappointment as there were free bicycles available for the guests, which were perfect for exploring the scenic route along the nearby river. the river view from the hotel was also fantastic and gave us a little bit of joy during our stay. Best aspects: It was nice to stay in an affordable hotel, but it was even nicer to stay in one that was clean. the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and it added to the overall good impression. it was great that the hotel location was away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The hotel wasn't without its drawbacks. the hike from the station was long and tiring, and there was no shuttle service.

This hotel is located in such a scenic area! You can see the river from the rooms, and they even offer free bicycles for guests to ride around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The room was also very clean and tidy, and it was so cheap that it made the stay very affordable.
The walk from the train station to the hotel was quite long, especially if you had luggage with you, but it was a nice walk along the riverside. The reception was also often unattended, so if you don't speak or read Japanese, it can be a bit tricky.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The view of the river was absolutely breathtaking, and it added a lovely touch to our experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and we were impressed by how well-maintained everything was. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we particularly enjoyed the free bicycle hire, which allowed us to explore the surroundings easily. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
